185 Post Street

Conversion of a 30,000 SF office building into an upscale retail center in San Francisco’s Union Square shopping district. The project included core and shell bracing of a six-story building at the corner of Post and Grant Streets. The exterior brick walls were shored and braced while the interior wood framing system was replaced with steel and concrete. The building received a new glass facade, dramatically modernizing its appearance, as well as a new elevator, stairs, and toilet rooms.
